The Bishop of the Diocese of Kootenay, the Most Rev. John Privett, has appointed the Rev. Dr. Catherine Hall as Director of EfM Canada.  Hall has been involved in Education for Ministry since she was a student in 1982.  She has served as a mentor since 1988, as a trainer since 1995 and also served for a number of years on the Board of Management.

In 2004 Hall completed her doctoral dissertation which was a study of the effectiveness of the Education for Ministry program in forming adults for baptismal ministry.  She is the third Director; the Rev. Peter Davison has been Director since 2003, the Very Rev. Jack Greenhalgh helped to establish the program in Canada and became the first Director when EfM Canada was formed in 1985.
